This month marks two big events for the International and Travel Team at 12KBW.
The first is the appointment of James Pickering as the new leader of our team here in chambers. Almost all of you will know James for his 6-year stint as the editor of this blog where his good humour, keen eye for an interesting decision and unparalleled editing skills turned this blog into the well-known, widely-read international and travel law resource that it is today. We are delighted that James will be leading the team into the future and the whole team wishes him well in this new role.
The second is that after editing this blog for the past 2 years, it is time for me to pass the torch to Peter Hale. I am delighted that Peter will be taking over. For those of you that don’t know Peter, he joined 12KBW with a wealth of international and travel law experience having previously worked in a market-leading travel team. In chambers, he’s cemented his reputation as a cross-border specialist with a growing practice and I have no doubt he will bring a fresh perspective, a wealth of talent and great energy to this blog.
Whilst I will no longer be editing the blog, I am looking forward to cheering on Peter and contributing to this blog as an author in the future.
