This is the second post in our Brexit mini-series.

The Law Society has released a helpful guidance note on the recognition and enforcement of foreign judgments after the end of the transition period.

It summarises the conditions and exceptions for enforcement of judgments under the common law rules. It also draws attention to some potential problems associated with the “revival” of old treaties formerly superseded by the EU rules.
